<p>Also our school does not offer many AP classes: sophomores can only take 1 AP class and Juniors can take a maximum of 3; however there also some additional honors classes (only about 2)</p>

<p>I assume you have computed your weighted GPA according to the UC method for determining their "UC GPA"? Their admissions website will explain this to you if you need further information... or go through some of my former posts for more info.</p>
<p>Your chances are solid for many selective schools; however, without knowing your academic interests and what you are looking for in a campus environment, it'd be difficult to steer you in any specific direction. Private colleges will place added importance on intangible, non-academic factors that the UC's will not. Such factors as personal character (sometimes evaluated in part through a personal interview), essays, and teacher recommendations may be weighted with more importance than the UC's. Examine your interests first for potential match to private colleges' strengths. Good luck!</p>
