<p>Hello all. I am a bit concerned about my college applications, and I have not yet received any word from the schools I have applied too (I intend to major in (pre)-pharmacy).</p>

** Describe an activity, interest, experience, or achievement in your life (this could be a book, a movie, or an activity or experience at work, home, or school) that has been particularly meaningful for you: I wrote about how I have grown as an individual and how sports have contributed to my personal growth (From being shy and easily discouraged to confident and willing to try new things).
**How has your family history, culture, or environment influenced who you are?: I wrote about my family ethnicity and the morals that have been instilled in me. Also the fact that my family has brought out the best in who I am, and they have also shown me what I don’t want to become. </p>

<p>You are in at FAMU.</p>

<p>Florida is going to be a toss up.</p>

<p>While your test scores are far below average, UF has been trying really hard to emphasize holistic admissions, which means your ethnicity is extremely advantageous as it adds to campus diversity .</p>

<p>Moreover, you have a strong GPA and EC’s. </p>

<p>I guess I would put UF at a high match for you, so you have good chances.</p>

<p>Thanks Ryan82 I’m concerned about my test scores as well, Its a bit stressful but nonetheless I will be taking them again. Hopefully it will improve for scholarships, and to be a more solid applicant.</p>

<p>^. Are you only looking at Florida Schools? If so, any reason why FSU is not on your list?</p>

<p>Yes, Im looking to stay in state for bright futures…</p>

<p>FSU is not on my list because I am interested in Pharmacy (which they do not have) and both UF and FAMU have a 6 year pharmacy program. I’m pretty sure the only other school in Florida that has Pharmacy is NOVA and that is a private school.</p>

<p>I haven’t heard anything from any schools so in desperation I applied to UCF.</p>

<p>What are my chances there?</p>
