Hi I am a rising senior at a small (200 students) at a private school in MD.
I really want to get into Vanderbilt, but I don't want to apply ED because I would need financial aid and I heard they don't give much financial aid to ED acceptances.

I had all A's and B's freshman year
All A's and principals honors sophomore year
All A average (first honors) junior year

my SATs are at 1880 (i know they're low for Vanderbilt that's why I am worried).
CR - 620
Math - 580
Writing - 680

I am in all honors classes and by the time i graduate I'll have 3 AP classes.

I am president of the Key club
involved in ecology club, health careers club, school ambassador, NHS, and a few more clubs

I have gotten two awards for community service, one being the Saint Michael's college award. I received the honors chemistry award sophomore year.

I also have been on varsity field hockey and lacrosse all 3 years oh HS and will be this year.

I am hoping to have a good essay and recommendation letters as well.

oh and i am also ranked 4th in my class my GPA is 4.2 weighted and 3.9 unweighted.

So...am i completely kidding myself by thinking i have a slight but small chance of getting in...I know its a VERY BIG reach, but I am in love with the school...

I'd like to get as many opinions as possible, thanks!
