What are my chances? Australian Transfer Student

Info:

Currently first year student studying double degree of Law/Commerce at the University of South Australia in my first year. Looking to transfer into a business major at a US college next year.

Academic Results:

Graduated high school last year with an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking) of 94.40 out of 99.95 placing me in the top 6 or so percent of graduating students in Australia. Plus received a merit for one of my subjects placing me in the top 1% for that. Have completed one semester of university work so far receiving 2 credits and 2 distinctions (currently on a 5.5 out of 7 GPA). Have just started my second semester where I will try and work very hard to get straight distinctions (GPA 6) to bump it up a little.

Extra:

Played soccer at the highest levels for the past 9 years plus many other sports, work as a soccer referee, travel a lot, have run a few of my own online businesses with one of them being quite successful.

University Choice:

Would love to go somewhere in California - however can only apply for private colleges as the public ones do not accept sophomore transfer. Therefore USC is at the top of my list, not sure what other private colleges would provide a similar college experience ?

University of Miami, followed my Florida State are also on my list. Looking for somewhere with nice weather with a great college experience (nightlife, sports, weather + good academics)

What are my chances? Cheers

guess I will also have to sit the SAT test entering as a sophomore sometime next mmonth!

bump anyone?

Its really hard to get into American schools as a foreign student, that’s why my dad from Germany couldn’t get into the schools he wanted :frowning: But I think you’ll do fine if you start practicing more for varsity soccer or get recruited for Division 1!

Im not too keen on continuing playing soccer going to be sticking to the weights as I have stuffed my knee :/

chance for university of San Diego aswell please?
