You posted on Tech's forum website too, didn't you? ; )

You're fine, really. Just try to bring that GPA up a notch and you'll be pretty well off

You'll never get in. You're destined for community college!

jk... Good shot as you stand.

Ya i did post it on tech's forums too lol, you read a lot of forums!!
Are you guys sure i have a good shot? Im weak in math/science and my gpa is low. Dont they want at least 3.7 (u/w)? Im ranked 60/380 (w).!

My math/science grades weren't outlandishly high and I got into Aerospace Engineering (Remember: Tech does NOT look at your decided major when they review your app) and my SAT Math was pretty low. The average GPA is 3.7x, not minimum. If you want to super-sure, then I guess you should have above a 650 Math SAT and 3.8x+. And they don't look at class rank at all. You're fine...

I do read a lot of forums...I linger on the Tech forums but never post since I'm done with the admissions process. In fact I only posted once in the entire forum.

So in short: You're fine. Go get some sleep and keep your grades up.

You should be fine. I'm from cali and I got in and my gpa is a little worse :). I have a 3.3 uw and a 3.5 w and not as many awards as you do.

My son got in with 3.5 and 1310, 690 Math.
He's looking forward to Atlanta and the great football games, athletic facilities, and I'm sure parties!
Proud Mom of an entering freshman in the Fall.
