What are my chances (Film major)

<p>GPA: 2.9 (very high grade in English, Film and Sociology but had difficulty in Science and Math classes)</p>

<p>Community service:
-Girl Scouts (9 years)
-Big Brothers & Sisters of America (1 year)</p>

<p>Extracurricular activities:
-Editor of the school's magazine (teacher who is in charge of the club wrote my recommendation letter and pointed out all the work I do for the club)</p>

<p>Experience in film:
- Filmed my first movie in 10th grade in which I did all the work (writing, casting, hiring crew, etc.)
- Have written five complete screenplays and currently in the process of filming the last one I wrote
-Have had counseling and experience behind the scenes from a local film director</p>

<p>I was accepted to ithaca as a film major. I’ve done acting my whole life and recently switched to film and therefore didn’t nearly have the credentials you do. On the other hand, I think Ithaca looks more at grades and test scores bc as I said, I didn’t get in because of film experience. So get a high sat score and raise your gpa then you should have the total package!</p>
