What are my chances for getting in for aero engineering?

Hello wonderful people! I am super stressed out right now, so although I kind of know the answer already, I wanted to know what my chances are for getting in to cal poly for aerospace engineering.

MCA- around 4300
GPA-3.3 (D:)
SAT- 1400 (700CR, 700 M)

I have done varsity swimming for 4 years, marching band of 2 (color guard captain this year), and I have worked as a lifeguard/swim instructor for the past 3 summers.

These are the following averages for the College of Engineering 2108:
Average SLO GPA: 4.21 Average SAT: 1481

A MCA score of 4700+ has been considered competitive. Your chances are not great. Make sure you have some solid Match and Safety schools on your list and consider SLO a Reach.

Thanks man! I was pretty sure that was going to be the answer. Would you consider SDSU or SJSU a good match for me?

For SDSU, an eligibility index of 4200+ is competitive.
Based on this calculation: (CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math + EBRW), I get 4040. Worth an application but not a solid Match.
For SJSU, a 3800 EI was needed for 2018 Freshman. SJSU Engineering uses a modified EI. See link below. http://www.sjsu.edu/admissions/impaction/impactionresultsfreshmen/freshmenimpactioncalc/index

SJSU looks like a Match.

“Thanks man!” You mean…Thanks MOM!

Thanks, mom!
