What are my chances for getting into Cal Poly SLO & any of the UCs?

I have a 4.2 GPA and got a 1920 on the SAT. I'm not particularly proud of my ACT score (26). I have a job and I volunteer with the special needs students at my school and disabled people in my community. I was on my school's Volleyball team and Track team, and also played club volleyball. I think I want to go into the medical field, perhaps major in biology or psychology.
I don't know what other information to include here...

Don’t worry too much about ACT score. Just don’t send it and only send your SAT. What’s your unweighted GPA and do you have an SAT S or AP scores?

My unweighted is a 3.87. I got 3s on my AP English and AP Psych tests. I haven’t taken a subject test yet. Would you recommend them?

Definitely take 2 subject tests to make up for your SAT.
You should be able to get into the mid-tier UCs (UCD, UCI, UCSB) and Cal Poly SLO. And UCSD is definitely within your range too

Considering you’ll write a good admission essay,

UCM: safety
UCR, UCSC: low match
UCSB, UCI, Cal Poly SLO: low match/match
UCD: match
UCSD: match/high match
UCLA: high match/low reach
UCB: low reach/reach

In general agree with above except I would say Cal Poly is a high match. Look at the threads for admissions this year-it’s getting tough to get in.
