Hey everyone. I got my deferral letter a few days ago and was so upset. I'm just wondering, how many deferred applicants will NU end up admitting? Should I give up on NU? I just got accepted to UMich and U of I and am finishing up my application to Boston University. I was interested in double majoring in Psychology (WCAS) and Communication Disorders (SoC) at NU. Any help?

Generally, deferred students have a lower admit rate than the total admit rate. However, you still have a chance since you were not rejected. I know a good number of students who were deferred admits at their respective schools. Keep hope!

Unfortunately, deferral is often a proxy for denial. But you still have a chance.
