What are my chances for Northeastern University?

<p>I'm a senior in high school and I REALLY want to go to Northeastern University. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>ACT - 30 Math, 33 English, 26 Reading, 30 Science, 9 Essay, 30 Composite (I'm going to retake this)</p>

<p>SAT II - 680 Chemistry, 680 Math, 720 Math</p>

<p>GPA - 94.210 weighted </p>

<p>Will have taken 6/7 APs and 7 honors classes.</p>

<p>EC's:</p>

<p>9th grade year:
Varsity XC, JV Lacrosse, Student Trainer, Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, KSU Music Clinic (Summer), Mission trip to Northern Ireland and Scotland with church (Summer)</p>

<p>Awards- Patrick S. Gilmore Award in Band, Most dedicated camper at KSU Music Clinic</p>

<p>10th grade year:
Varsity XC, Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, second chair oboe in District Honor Band, Tutoring math at local public school, Acolyte at church, Experiment in International Living in France w/ scholarship (Summer)</p>

<p>Awards- Patrick S. Gilmore Award in Band</p>

<p>11th grade year:
Varsity XC manager, Community Service Club, school newspaper, Young Democrats Club, Tutoring junior high kids in math, in three woodwind quintets, Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, Obama 2012 Volunteer Campaign, second chair oboe in District Honor Band, Acolyte at church, fourth chair oboe in All State Band, first chair oboe while playing for Georgia Ballet Company, tutoring math at local public school, GERLS (Girls empowering relationships and leadership services- basically a club that talks to younger girls about body image)</p>

<p>12th grade year:
Los Angeles Tour with Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony (played at Disney Concert Hall), Emory Summer Concert Band, Young Democrats Club, Peer Math Tutoring, Pit Orchestra for school musical, Bi-line Staff Writer, Community Service Club, Wildcat (attend sports games for school spirit), Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra Symphony, Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony (Third Chair), Honor Council, Vice President of Wind Ensemble</p>

<p>If you could just tell me your opinions on my chances and what you think Northeastern is looking for that'd be great!</p>

<p>Also I want to know more about the Honors Program - don't think my stats are high enough but I'm curious.</p>

<p>From your music, you’d be a desirable applicant. Will you send in a video of any current solo pieces? You could also try taking an SAT II English Lit because it seems like you’re pretty good at English and it would make you more desirable to colleges. </p>

<p>I’m taking the ACT again, but if I superscore the two times I did take I would have a 31. I’m planning on submitting a arts application. I already contacted the admissions department and I told them of my interest in music. Anyone have any info on the Honors college?</p>

<p>If music is your thing, then what did you not like about U Rochester?</p>

<p>Catria: I haven’t looked at U Rochester - I’m also not planning on majoring in music. I just want to be able to play in college and perhaps try to get scholarships.</p>
