I want to apply to Northeastern, but I just learnt that Northeastern does not require and does not even consider test scores from applicants living outside the US. And I don’t live in the US. This really sucks because my SAT score and subject test scores are quite above average for Northeastern. I don’t know whether I’d get admitted or even receive adequate financial aid without them (I’m a US citizen, so I’m eligible for financial aid).
My school grades aren’t really good, because we have severe grade deflation in our schools. People tend to score poorly in school, but score really well in standardised national exams. My standardised national exam scores are pretty good. I guess my ECs are mediocre. And I think my essay and recs can be considered as pretty good. So is it worth applying?
