What are my chances for OOS?

As for William & Mary, there is just a particular spark of an aura about the college that attracts me so. I feel partial to it, without ever visiting it. I have been to hundreds of college websites, but none held the same warmth that W&M's did: the shades of green; the welcoming campus scenery; the stimulating thoughts of engaging, profound discussions with fellow passionate students. I have always been educated in small schools, and W&M is very much the environment I yearn for. I am politically leaned to the left, enjoy an abundance of community involvement, and would truly enjoy four years in a place that appears to be the ideal opposite of distracting, anti-scholar Miami. I dream of a place that would embrace me for being passionate, creative, over-achieving, and involved, rather than deem me as being "too intense." I dream of William & Mary.

you have a good chance I think…

your ACT is low though.

every time i read one of these chance threads i can’t believe i ever got in. :P

that means “looks good to me,” btw. :)

yeah same here, i’m surprised i got in, you should be fine. If not, probably on the waitlist, which is how i got in

I would say prepare a little and write SAT general too. Anything above 2150 or so will look very good.

I know this sounds terribly conceited, but I have to say it anyway; you’ve come to the right place…

I hope you can visit sometime when classes are being held, just to make sure. W&M has a really good IR program, I suggest you check that out. You should also check out the Sharpe scholars program: [W&M Sharpe Programs | Sharpe Programs for Community Engagement and Scholarship](http://web.wm.edu/sharpe/) - this is something you can apply to after acceptance.

Try to get that ACT up, maybe see if the SAT is better for you. I’m optimistic for you, but every little bit helps, and it may get you closer to some financial aid - as a State-funded school, (more or less – but that’s another subject), financial aid is pretty hard to come by.
