What are my chances for these universities?CS

oout of the ones i listed which one or which ones ( if you think its a tie) is my best chance at? so i can look to improve to reach it even if its still not a high chance which of the schools is my best chance at?

also i am not familiar on which or how colleges give “full free rides” but if say i manage to get a composite score of 27-30 on my next test what type of schools, examples, would i be able to get some free rides at if possible?

It’s hard to say given your current status regarding test scores.

i understand my current status. going to study and try for at least a 28 (me being realistic, on a good day maybe 30). but is there a huge difference between a 28 and 24? 4 point difference?

4 points is a lot. For people the difference between a 29 and a 30 is thousands of dollars on a scholarship.

A 24 is roughly a 1650, while a 28 is roughly an 1880 if you were to compare it to the SAT. You need to study really hard though or include other schools on your list or else it will be tough for you to get accepted by these competitive institutions. I really hope you can do it, though, cuz you seem to really want it

yes i would really like to go to one of these schools. aside from E.C’s what ACT score would you suggest for me to aim for if 28 is too low even if it is unrealistic(but not 36 Unrealistic). going to take a practice test soon. I got throughout High school without studying even at the highest level classes(A’s) offered at my high school. i think its in the format of act test the makes me perform lesser that i am not use to so i am going to take a few practice tests.

30-32 is a realistic target range given your class rank and GPA “without studying”. Don’t just aimlessly finish practice tests. After you take them, try to understand exactly why you got a question wrong.

yes i think im going to alternate between my practice tests. taking my time on some and then applying the time constraints. good idea? i remember aside from my math act i left a lot blank or just guessed because of the time constraints

You should always take a guess on the ACT. Unlike the SAT, there is no penalty for guessing. Definitely practice with the timing - that’s a key to beating it. I personally haven’t beat it yet, but I hope to improve upon my score.

what is your score?just curious 32?

Yeah, I got a 32.
