I'm applying to...
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC San Diego
Stanford

Thanks!

UC GPA = Capped at 4.5.

Isn't UC GPA capped at 4.33? You can't have more extra points for more than 8 classes over the course of 4 semesters.

You're President of French Club and got a 1 on the French AP Exam?

How does that work..

UCs look at capped gpa just for eligibility purposes. So schools like berkeley, la, and sd look at uncapped gpa (in your case 4.75) for admissions. according to uc brochure that i got with my elc letter, ucla and berkeley accepted 57% of ela applicants, and sd accepted 88% of elc applicants. You have a good chance at ucs.

That French AP score is quite embarrassing. Were you sick when you took it?

You need to recalculate your UC GPA with the 8-semester cap.

Berkeley: slight reach - high match
UCLA: match
UCSD: safe match - safety
Stanford: reach

You'll have to bring up your SAT scores a bit if you want to get into Stanford. It also makes Berkeley a bit more difficult.
