<p>I don't know what my chances are at the UC's.</p>

<p>UC capped GPA: 3.96</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT I 2070(march) , will take again in Oct (hope 2280+)
SATII: 2C 790; Bio 740; US history 720</p>

<p>APs: US: 4
Eng:4
Art History: 4
Bio: 5</p>

<p>500+ hrs of community service over 4 years at
libraries, UCLA medical center, UCLA clinical lab.</p>

<p>internship over past summer at city hall</p>

<p>violin 9-now
tennis team 9th grade
x-country team 10-now
Track team 10-now, varsity 11th</p>

<p>Science olympiad 10th</p>

<p>I expect good recs</p>

<p>I really want to get into UCLA, please tell me my chances? Thanks</p>

<p>What does your GPA rank you at in your school? I've heard about serious grade inflation in CA publics so I don't know if a 3.96 is good or not, I'm very ignorant about gpa's. your SAT is pretty good right now, although raising it 210 points could be tough, thats a LOT. I would think you have a very good shot at all the UC's except at Berkeley and LA which coudl be reaches depending on how much your SAT goes up and your rank.</p>

<p>Your GPA is top level. if your rank is also good and second sat scores are good, i think you have a very good chance.</p>

<p>thank you guys for replying, I have a 4.4 at my school, but the UC GPA is capped, so I'm unsure about my chances. I know 210 pts is a lot, but I did bad on the new writing section. March scores were 740 v 760 m and 570 w. So I hope i do better in oct!</p>
