What are my chances at UCM , UCSC, UCI, UCR, UCSB, and all CSUs?
GPA: 3.4
SAT 1300
EC: I was in a 4-year health academy program, a 4-year AVID program, an intern for a council member for 2 years, PHAST club, and 250+ volunteer hours.
For the CSU’s and UC’s calculate your CSU/UC GPA: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/.
Then calculate your EI: (CSU GPA x800) + (SAT math + CR)
An EI of 3900+ is competitive for most Cal states except SDSU/CSULB.
SLO has a different system and uses MCA points. If you want more info on SLO PM me.
Is your SAT of 1300 total or only Math and Critical Reading?
Intended major?
I will chance you based on posted stats and SAT total score
For Uc’s;
UCM: Match
UCR: High Match
UCSC: Low Reach
UCI/UCSB: Reach
Reasoning being that GPA and SAT scores are below 50th percentile for UCR/UCM and UCSC. At or below 25th percentile for UCI/UCSB
Since there are 23 CSU’s. I will not chance you on all but give you some schools to consider based on stats. SFSU/Sac State/Chico/Northridge/San Marcos/LA/Monterey Bay/Channel Islands/SJSU to name few. CSULB/SDSU/SLO/CPP/CSUF will be Reaches but much will depend on major.
Good luck and consider a retake on the SAT or try ACT
If you are not a California resident, your fees will be tough.
