What are my chances for UCLA/UC-Berkley/Stanford

I am applying as a graduate student
probably either in psychology or business
my GRE range based on the practice tests

Verbal 163-168 93-99th
Math 170 99th
Analytical Writing 6 99th

GPA 3.48
Denver University/ UCSC

Very strong essay likely
no work experience

Graduate school is a lot different than undergrad. Scores are less important–research is king. Check the graduate school threads.

I have a very high capacity for research
I won’t have published anything until next year but I have a lot of very innovative ideas that I want to implement
I am wondering if you think the GPA is too low even with the scores?

You have a high capacity for research? What does that mean? Have you done any? Are you interested in psychology or business? You need to know. Why have you chosen those particular universities? What are they studying that you are interested in? Grad schools are less interested in your essay than they are in recommendations from professors you have worked with. If you’re nor even sure what you want to study then you may not be ready to take the grad school plunge. Why do you want to go?

Yes I have done research in a couple of my higher level psychology classes but have not published anything. I am still about 1.5 years away from graduate school. I have basically finished my major requirements for Psychology but recently I decided to dual-major in Business. My professor recommendations are very solid. One of the professors writing me a recommendation says that I am the best writer he has ever seen in his five years of working experience (granted I go to Denver University so that is not that impressive).
I am not sure whether to go for Psychology or for Business yet but I think I might side with business because it has a higher ceiling. I guess it is premature to post this question since I still have a 1.5 years to go.
The reason I chose Stanford, Berkeley and UCLA is primarily their location in California. Aside from that they are top-notch schools with great reputations in the fields I am interested in. I still need to do more research
