Recommendation letters:
I am getting it from my favorite math teacher ( we are basically like friends), and also from my history teacher and my AP Chemistry teacher.

Going to take 6 AP classes senior year
I already have AWESOME essays planned out for the UC essays.
Give me other recommendations that I should do please. :)

UCB and UCLA only look for your sophomore and junior year grades and single sitting SAT.
if you have 3.9+ gpa in your sophomore and junior years and your sat is single sitting, you are pretty much in for UCLA and have good chance at UCB

Calculate your UC GPA using your Sophomore and Junior year grades, see link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;
UCB will also look at your unweighted and fully weighted GPA. Your SAT is good but could be more competitive. Taking the ACT is a good idea. UC’s do not accept letters of recommendation, but needed for USC. UCB/UCLA/USC will be more holistic in admissions than UCSD, so good essays will give you a boost. Repost after your ACT results are back. At the moment I think you have a good chance at all the schools listed but see if you can make them Matches with a great ACT result.

The article isn’t very impressive (especially for UC’s, which don’t really emphasize EC’s very much), but something you can just plop into the additional information section of the Common App.

I am comparing you to those who were admitted into the UC system from my school (in-state).

I would definitely retake your SAT or take the ACT. UCSD is definitely a match. UCB/UCLA is honestly a coin flip between the two, but I can definitely see you getting into either one (or even both) if you do improve your SAT score as most of the kids in my school who got into UCB/UCLA had a 2200+ (although most of them got Regents).

A kid in my school was rejected from UCSC, UCD, UCI, UCLA, and UCB, but was accepted into USC. He had a 1900 and not that great of a GPA, but his ECs were phenomenal (and you have a pretty great EC list).
