SAT I: 2030 and 2010 (2050 superscore)
I will be taking SAT II in January. (US history, Math II)

Extra curriculars: I have won debates, interned at a local news agency. I have taught at schools. I am also president of a club at school

I have applied to the following colleges:
Wellesley
Vassar
Bryn Mawr
Mount Holyoke
Smith
Bennington
Brandeis
UChicago

I write pretty well so my essays are quite good.

What are my chances?

What exactly is your GPA?

Average doesn’t help but your EC’s aren’t too bad. With some good essay’s (like you said) then you might have a decent shot as anyone to get in. How Average is your GPA?

Yeah we need to know your exact unweighted and weighted GPA, also what is your class rank and how do you think you recommendations will be?

GPA: 3.7
Class rank: top 25%

I know my recommendations and essays are going to be good. They’re my only strength. And I’ve got my fingers crossed for SAT II.

As far as ECAs are concerned, I’ve also dabbled a bit in amateur journalism. Some of my work got published in a local newspaper.

No one is ever screwed, Wellesley and UChicago are a bit of a reach, but with good essays and recommendations you will be fine.

Chance me back?

You’ll be fine! Dont panic! You’ll get in. chance me!
