i have a 3.6 gpa and 2300 on the sats..
i have decent/great extracurriculars
but for sat subject tests i have 800 on math 2c and a 600 on ushistory..
i missed the deadline for december sat subject tests :(
instead i signed up for the december act
is there no hope for me at colleges like dartmouth, wellesley, columbia and williams?

There is always hope, my friend.

seriously...
do i have a decent shot at colleges like dartmouth, wellesley and williams?
I have wanted to go to dartmouth or williams since freshman year :(
but those sorta colleges' accepted applicants usually have better sat subject scores than i do..

I don't know about the others, but I think that Wellesley is a good match. People with worse stats have been accepted. I think that they may have been student leaders though. If you have a good amount of EC's, and your essay rocks, I think you have a great shot.

You SAT is great, so try to get a comparable ACT score. If you kick butt on that and the writing section, they probably won't even consider your SAT iis.

I don't know if this helps, but I have stats very similar to yours: (2310 SAT, took the same SAT IIs (got 780 and 730), have about a 3.5 GPA)...

I'm applying early to Wellesley, and I hope I have a somewhat of a shot, but obviously won't know until December. From what I've heard, your other three are a bit more difficult to get into, but if I don't get in early, I'll also apply to Amherst and Swarthmore, which are similar. Honestly, I expect it is unlikely for you, like me, to get into those schools, but there's always a chance.

I assume you have "safer" schools, too.

I don't think your US History SAT II will hurt too much, since your other SAT things are so high, but it combined with your GPA, which is lower than the average for such schools, may make them a little hesitant to admit.

However, I'm in the same spot as you, so what do I know!? I'd definitely recommend you apply, but don't get TOO fixated. Good luck!
