I have a 3.96 unweighted gpa with three APs my junior and I’m going to take r APs next year. Also I went to states competition for FBLA, compete for my school’s Math Team and I’m in a few clubs:We.Help.You,Robotics,FBLA and math team. I also play soccer for the school and I’m in NHS. My SAT is a 1400 730M/670W. I also hold a few leadership roles with being captain of the JV soccer team, NJ Boys State and I am FBLA and Math Team Fundraising Coordinator. Also I did some out of school stuff like my own blog and i did a radio commercial for Kumon, the tutoring center I work at. What are the chances I can get into Rutgers School of Engineering-New Brunswick?
@Nilabhro01 Are you currently a Junior? According to the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), in 2018, the average SAT score for the students admitted at the Rutgers School of Engineering (SOE) was 1420. And it probably was even higher last year.
I think you have a good chance to get in, but I suggest you work on your SAT (e.g. using Kahn Academy) and retake it to be on the safe side.
I am taking 4 APs this year.
I am currently a Senior
I am also in state as well
@Nilabhro01 It is too late to retake the SAT then. So, while you have a good chance to get in Rutgers SOE, I suggest that you apply at NJIT and Rowan so you have backup plans in place…
