What are my chances: Michigan, Cornell, Brown, NYU, USC...

Anyway, unlike the rest of my posts, I'll keep this short.

I'm transfering from Hofstra to one of these schools (although still don't have a definite list of schools yet) and I want to know my chances.

Schools: Michigan Ann Arbor, Cornell, Brown, NYU, USC
*I want to double major in psych/eng (creative writing)

College GPA: 3.89, hopefully can keep the GPA up sophmore year

ECs: In a musical first semester, nothing second semester (the show was too much for me last semester), and probably will be involved in a newspaper/magazine of some sort next year, and maybe the philosophy club.

I'm pretty sure that, because I'll be transfering into my junior year, my high school grades won't matter. However, here they are for those who want to know. (not very good, because I had probably the worst ethic a student could have--seriously)

GPA - 3.4ish
(unweighted 87, weighted prob more cuz of APs)
SAT - 1180
(630/550, a shame since I scored higher on my PSAT and got roughly a 1350 on a practice exam, but never bothered to take it again because I didn't care)

Anyway, what are my chances for transfering to these schools?

Pretty good. Your college GPA shows you can hang with the education. Don't worry so much about your SAT :) Cornell and Brown are a reach, but with a good essay and some stuff on the side, a match.

Good Luck, crossing my fingers for you.

Thanks for the response, that's definetly good to hear. Also, thank you for the finger crossing. :)

Anyway, I meant *work ethic in my postl; I forgot the work park.
