I am a white male, intending on applying ED to NYU without financial aid. Here are my stats. (To College of Arts and Sciences)
Weighted GPA: 3.71
New SAT: 1460
ACT: 32
ECs: 4 Years Varsity Ice Hockey, Started a Sports discussion club, 4 years of an Ethic’s club (Leader Junior and Senior year) I play bass, and have played in many concerts live. Leader of house at my school (students are split into Harry Potter like houses, with one leader. Led about ~70 students)

Essay topics? I have twin brother that constantly did better than me in High School and wanted to talk about how the competitiveness between us slowed me down. When I put my head down, and focused on myself I did better in school, and the relationship with my brother improved.

Note: I go to one of the most prestigious private schools in Philadelphia. It is difficult.

I think you have a pretty good shot at NYU, you have competitive test scores, great ECs, and provided that your essay and recs are good, you’re set. NYU has a 35% acceptance rate so it should not be too difficult for someone with your stats to get in. Where did you prep for your ACT? I’m from Canada and can’t find any decent ACT prep.
