I also was wondering what some other good safety schools would be for Biomedical Engineering. That would be great! Thanks. I wanna stay in the east.

Is ga tech harder to get into if you are applying as an engineer major.

Gtech-Match
UVA-Low Match

What are your section scores on the SAT? (obviously, writing is a 600)

640 maath 610 reading…i only missed 5 on the math but I just realized I left five blank so I should do better next time

I think you have a chance at both. UVA may be a little more up there, but you have a decent opportunity :)

Raising your test scores and great essays would solidify your application :D

Good job!

Chance back?

For GT, your GPA is below average, your SAT Math is below the 25th percentile, and your CR and Writing are both at the bottom of the 25th percentile. Your FI is 3100 is which a little low.

It’d say that you are a slight reach with your current stats. As mentioned, all of your stats are on the historical low end, and applications are up this year (by 30%). The only obvious negative is the SAT Math score, which Tech weights heavily. If you can get that up 50 points or so, you’ll be a match.
