Engineering Experience:
Solidworks Certified Associate
Mastercam Professional Programmer
Fabricated numerous projects through CNC Machines–Servo, Stepper, Lathe, etc.
Senior Project going to be creating and fabricating 3 pound battle bot through Solidworks, Mastercam, 3-axis mill, lathe, drill press, etc.
Hands-on experience, not just theory knowledge.

EC:
In numerous engineering clubs–TSA, SECME, Robotics, SHPE.
Been in TSA and SECME for 4 years, officer in both.
Been in Robotics and SHPE for 4 years.
Officer in NHS, been in it for 3 years.
Was Class Treasurer
Over 100+ community service hours
Helped organize events for NHS, like helping with His House–a children’s home.
Achieved numerous 1st place awards in Miami Dade Youth Fair for engineering projects.
Finalist in TSA State conference Dragster Design(another projected created through Solidworks, Mastercam, and CNC machine)

Write a strong essay and id say your chances are very good.

Very high chance in my opinion

You have great stats. But like someone else said, make sure your essay is strong. I will be attending UF as a freshman this fall and I had a lot of friends with great stats like you who didn’t get in. I’m not saying their essay was the reason but they do take that seriously. Also, make sure you have a strong senior schedule. They don’t like to see people take a step down their senior year. Keep up the good work and good luck! :slight_smile:
