Good shot.

Nothing makes me go “woah,” but Legacies do pretty well ED, so I think you have a solid chance since you’re stats fit pretty well. You should consider taking a subject test in another field though - Math I and II is generally not preferred.

@AnOmaly
yea no “woah’s” but iom hoping my other factors will do it for me…and as for SAT II’s, their policy for CALS is they recommend any sort of scientific or mathematical subject tests if they r even taken at all, they r only recommended not required, so i imagine the two maths should be ok b/c i dnt know of any other math subject tests…

oh matthew, how fallacious of you for so blatantly refraining from eschewing your accomplishments in college confidential posts. i fancied you a gentleman. that said, i have no insightful contributions in regard to your acceptance into cornell. It’s very possible that a forth student of the month would’ve helped.

I think you’ll get in. I know someone who got in and she wasn’t a legacy, minority, and she didn’t have your credentials. You have a solid academic reputation and seem pretty well-rounded. Good luck :)

Mind chancing me?? I’d appreciate it :)

very solid credentials. i’ll be surprised if you get straight up rejected. At worst a deferral, but I think you’re in ED. Good luck!

I think you have a very good shot. It would help if you visited Cornell to show interest and attended sessions in the schools you are applying to. Cornell especially likes fit.
