I am going to be a high school senior this year. These are my stats: 4.0 gpa, 1st in class, 30 on ACT. I participate in French Club, Drama Club, Science Olympiad, and our school unity group. What are my chances of getting a full scholarship to OSU? I know there are some available, I'm just not sure if I will meet the standards of most recipients.

In additon, my family is also low income, if that makes in a difference.

Im not sure what the credentials are, but I was offered a full ride with a 33 on my ACT, so I would say you’re pretty close if not already there to the credentials …Hope you get it!

What scholarship were you awarded Indianboy? When you say “full ride” are you including room and board too? I just know kids that got higher than a 33 that did not get a “full ride”. I am not doubting you - just curious. What was your GPA and EC’s?

My GPA was around 3.94 UW, and my EC’s and Honor stuff

If you get your ACT up (34ish), you can probably get a full-tuition scholarship without too much of a problem. The Morill Scholarship is pretty easy to get if you are some sort of minority. You should apply even if you are not under-represented. If you are from Appalachia, I think you qualify as well. Also, scholarships stack at OSU, so you should apply to as many as you can!

Indianboy - You wrote that you are a college senior in a chance thread. How did you get a full-ride from OSU?
