I was accepted to Colorado state university and I was planning to move up with my boyfriend to start school (I’m 18 and will be a freshman in college) I didn’t realize they required freshmen under 21 to live in a dorm for 2 years but that isn’t an option for me. They have a housing exemption form and a requirement to be CONSIDERED for exemption is marriage/civil union so I plan to get a civil union license in CO and mail it in with the form. What are the chances of me getting exemption? Do most colleges give exemption as long as you meet the requirement?
