<p>Hey!
I'm a first year at Virginia Tech. For the first semester, I have 15 Semester Hours and a 4.0 QCA(GPA). I'm planning for 17 hours next semester, and can guarantee a similar GPA.
I took my SATs again and got a 690 in Math and 620 in verbal (1310 in all)
I'm a Virginia Resident.
I've satisfied about 97% of the transfer requirements...the only things I have left are a history class and foreign language, both of which i'm planning to take at UVA.
My highschool GPA was 3.56 with like...3 APs and a college level Anatomy course.
What chances do I have in getting in to UVA for the Fall 2005 semester for my second year of college?</p>
<p>Oh yeah...According to about 6 people, my admissions essay is "awsome" or "great."</p>
<p>kinda hard to get help here isn't it?</p>
<p>i think you have a decent shot, but not an amazing shot, only because of your high school gpa, but i think your college gpa kinda cancels out your HS gpa....</p>
<p>hopefully bein an in-stater will help out</p>
<p>You should have a great chance of getting in as a transfer. It sounds like you weren't too far off as a high schooler, and the college GPA will definitely help. Make sure to clearly articulate your reasons for wanting to go to UVA in your essays and get good recs. Good luck, I think you have an excellent shot.</p>
