What are my chances of getting into a good University?

<p>I am going into my junior year and have been studying for the ACT. I am not the best at standardized testin ( been gettin 25, 26 averages on practice tests ) but i get straight A's in school. I am ranked number one in my class. I have a 4.5 GPA and good EC's and I'm 100% sure I'll have a very good Essay when applying to colleges. What are my chances of getting into a really good University If i maintain my grades but still end up with an ACT score around a 26.</p>

<p>also if anybody can name some really good schools that consider a 26 ACT as average or would stand a good chance in getting accepted into those school.</p>

<p>I dunno, probably your state flagship or some schools like Wake Forest.</p>

<p>You should try the SAT. A lot of people do much better on that than the ACT, or vice versa.</p>
