What are my chances of getting into Andover, Exceter or Lawrenceville?
Hi everyone :)
Today I just wanted to know my chances of getting into Andover, Exceter or Lawrenceville. In addition, I have 2 months to prepare for the vocab section, which is the only section that scares me at the moment.
I am an 8th grade straight-A student in my school Community middle school (one of the best public schools) I am the smartest student in my math honors class and I am better than most others in other subjects. I play tennis competitively and made the school team. In addition to playing tennis and frisbee, I also play the viola. I also do robotics (FLL and Abington) and won a trophy in a competition. This summer I went to John's Hopkins CTY and I took the anatomy and physiology course.I took the ACT and got grades that would get me in even if I were in 10 th grade. I had the option of going to intensive studies, but my parents wanted me to learn more things about science and dissections, so they didn't send me to intensive studies. I got a good letter back from the teacher telling me I excelled at it even though I was the youngest in the class. I am confident I can get recommendation letters from all my teachers if needed. When I was in 6 th grade, I would help an autistic 8 th grader and other students with disabilities with their work. I would stay after school to help the teachers and help some underperforming students in studying. I volunteer at tepees too. I take many classes in a week such as math, science, tennis, viola and la. My parents don't have much time to Teach me, so they think it is best for me to go to a private school.
I digress, but in a nutshell, I want to know my chances of getting in Andover, Exceter or Lawrenceville and how to study for the vocab section of the SSAT

Sorry I meant temples not tepees. Auto correct :stuck_out_tongue: my nationality is Indian

My concern for u is your age, as u mention u are the youngest in your class now. FYI, the top schools have a significant number of repeat students. So u could end up being even more comparatively young. While it’s not a problem intellectually, it may not be the funnest social dynamic if u are a boy.

Yeah, I am the youngest, but only by a couple of months (around 3) and yes I am a boy:P And thanks for answering ;)
