and my high school doesnt use GPA but i got A parallels from the 10th-12th grades and got 14As and 2Bs out of 16 subjects in the 9th grade.

I’m kinda worried…what are my chances???

Your chances are very low… everyone’s chances are low at schools such as Yale, Princeton, Duke, etc - especially international students (who make up very small percentages of the overall student body.) Will you need financial aid? If not, I’m sure of the “normal” - and lower-ranked - schools may welcome an accomplished Nigerian student who is full pay.

On their international applicant page, https://admissions.yale.edu/applying-yale-international-student Yale states:

“Only students whose home country of schooling (for example, mainland China) do not have an SAT or ACT testing center are exempt from these testing requirements, but must take either the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE instead. No other substitutions are acceptable. SAT Subject Tests are not required for admission but are recommended.”

Nigeria has testing centers.

I think the lack of SAT/ACT will hurt, impressive as the resume looks otherwise. Nigerians are not as under-represented at US colleges as one might think; it’s a diversity advantage but not nearly as much as many other African countries.

Hi!
Did you get in? Which schools accepted you?
