What are my chances of getting into Boston College?

I just sent in my early action app for BC (which is 1000% my top school) and I’m really nervous because 16 kids from my school applied there early. Here are my stats:

-3.7 gpa unweighted
-top 10% of my class
-member of National, Science, Music, Spanish, History, and English honor societies (president of English)
-2030 SAT (640 math, 690 writing, 700 critical reading)
-four total APs. (junior year: Psych and US History with 5’s on both exams) (senior year: Lit and Gov)

-editor of my school newspaper
-interned the at a local magazine the past 2 summers
-volunteered at a hospital the past 3 summers
-varsity tennis at my school
-tutor for Spanish-speaking kids
-in a club that fundraises for and organizes the local Special Olympics

Also, my dad went there (and continues to donate money) and my sister goes there now.

All I want is to go here, so do you think I have a good chance of getting in? Thanks!

You have a good chance, good scores, and you are well-rounded. Don’t stress

I’d be shocked if you didn’t get in. Your stats are good but the legacy should secure admission

I hear that it’s generally easier for second siblings to get in, but the thing that makes me nervous is the huge number of kids from my school who

You also have your father who attended there, and donates money as well. That should astronomically improve you chances. This is not to say you aren’t qualified otherwise, because your stats are impressive as well!

might look at other top Catholic schools like Holy Cross and Villanova.
