What are my chances of getting into Ivy League schools?

I applied to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and Stanford. I’ve also applied to a few local schools that I’m more likely to get into.

I have a 4.0 GPA
I’m in three of my school’s four AP classes- Calculus, US History, and Chemistry (which is two periods)
I have two 34s on the Act- highest in each is 36 English, 35 Math, 34 Reading, and 35 Science
760 on SAT Math II
710 on SAT Biology M
I’m in Student Council, DECA, Track and Field, and am Historian of NHS.
I also received the Bausch and Lomb Science Award for my school last year.

What would you say are my chances of getting into each of these schools?

.5%

Depends a lot on ur essay now, your ECs are sort of scattered. Test scores aren’t good compared to others applying there

As good as about everyone else applying(so not very good hah). But you are definitely qualified!

@richardsimpleton You have posted the exact same thread four times. What more do you want?

This is just my opinion, but unfortunately your chances for HYPS seem extremely low. Your grades and test scores are good, but that is about it, and selective schools look for a lot more than grades/scores. It is not uncommon for them to reject 4.0’s and 2200+ applicants simply because there is not enough room.

@MattyCRaps “Test scores aren’t good compared to others applying there.”

You did see that the OP scored a 34 ACT, right?

GPA and test scores are great but those schools are a reach for almost anyone. I definitely think you are qualified but you will be among many qualified applicants.

Honestly @richardsimpleton IK the wait for decisions is hard and has been hard. It is for everyone. But sadly, not one person (besides the admissions decision group at each university) can tell you if you have a good shot. People get into these schools with stats all across the board and talents in every spectrum. Some have legacies; some are URM; some are popular teen novelists/musicians/scientists; some are even normal people. It all just depends on luck, stats, essays, and how these are all connected and perceived by the admissions officers.

As for some of the others commenting within this post (and in others- not just blaming you guys), regardless of how many times this user has asked the public (God knows I have), DO NOT get angry. I know it can be annoying and I understand the struggle of wanting an action to end, but this post is as a result of an extreme amount of stress and psychologically-based actions do not end with the sound of “stop.” If you want to really show them that they don’t need to create posts for Ivy League Admission Chances, sympathizing is a much more efficient practice.
