What are my chances of getting into NYU?

I took the SATs in March, and I was extremely disappointed with my scores. I was hoping for an 1800 at the very least, but earned a 1670. My GPA is a 3.67, but I'm just a terrible test taker- have been all my life. Currently I'm doing online prep courses with Kaplan hoping that they will boost each of my sections up 100 points (well critical reading and Math... I got a decent score on writing). I only have taken 2 APs (English Language & Biology) and next year will be taking AP Literature.

(Extra: I got a 530 Reading, 520 Math, and 620 Writing. How do I boost those scores up 100 pts. each?! THANKS!)

I am also a pre-professional dancer and will be auditioning for Tisch. I do have a resume to back me up, but I read somewhere that in the interview after someone's audition they commented upon his/her low SAT scores... I don't want that to hold me back! I am not only interested in dance though, I am interested in becoming a physical therapist.

I will be taking the SATs again in June. Does anyone think I would be able to be accepted? Thank you!

Though Tisch does rely on a lot of talent, you do want to get those SAT scores up. Aim for 1950+. Do practice tests in the collegeboard official blue book and mark each type of question you get wrong. Examine your errors. Just keep practicing. You have a chance of getting in!
