What are my chances of getting into princeton

<p>Hi, im a senior at Stuyvesant High School in New York. I applied EA to princeton and Harvard and i am interested to see what you think my chances are.
I am a white male, i have 5 relative alumni across two generations at princeton and my family donates money annually.
i have a 94 average, though it is much higher my junior year, will colleges look at this improvement, my average last year was a 97. Did i take enough APs?</p>

<p>I would say you have good chances at Princeton, but if you don’t get in, it’s not a reflection of you! HPYS are renowned for being crap shoots! Good luck and I hope it works out!</p>

<p>I hope you realize we can’t at all chance you accurately without any standardized test scores (i.e. SAT/ACT, SAT Subject Tests). But regardless, your ‘U’ trend (OK freshman grades, slight drop sophomore year, big jump junior year) should work in your favor, especially with a donating multi-alumni family. </p>

<p>It’s pretty typical in a lot of schools to only take 3 APs junior year, but you obviously make up for it senior year. Looking at your freshman/sophomore years, your lowest grades were usually in math/science, two subjects you excelled in junior year. </p>

<p>What I would do is really kick it up in your AP Calc and Physics classes, to really cement the fact that your math/science isn’t that bad. </p>

<p>Overall though, ceteris paribus (since you’re in econ!) of normal ‘Ivy’ ECs/SATs/ranking/etc., you should be fine.</p>

<p>You can’t apply to both Harvard and Princeton EA, they’re Single Choice Early Action schools. If they find out you applied to both, they might void your application.</p>
