What are my chances? I’m going to end junior year with a 3.3 gpa. I did terrible my first year with a 1.89 gpa for freshman year. Sophomore and junior year I have a gotten straight A’s. My bad grades were due to my parents just finalizing their divorce that summer and I moved to a new town. I am part of Spanish honour society, a Latin student association (I am Hispanic), and FBLA (I am an officer at this one). I have yet to take my SAT’s yet. I also had to repeat algebra (told you I did bad my first year). I am taking Algebra 2 this summer so I can technically finish high school with four years of math. What are my chances?
I think you could get in. I don’t think Rutgers really cares about your GPA as much as other schools. I did terrible in highschool. I never passed algebra 2. I did well in Camden County College and had a 3.5 GPA but Rutgers states on it’s site that they do not take your college GPA into consideration for admissions because a GPA will not transfer. They only award credit for those classes.
