i need to know my chances on getting admitted into rutgers new brunswick...I was not admitted to Rutgers New Brunswick and I asked them to re-evaluate my application..however my gpa is very low. about a 2.7 and my SATS is 1240 just including reading and math part..1840 including writing...and my current senior year grade is about a 90-95 which I'm hoping will help me in my re-evaluation..can anyone tell me my chances? and also what i can do to better my chances..for example a letter or a appointment with the dean of admissions perhaps? Thank you so much

send them a recent transcript which shows good grades.

Yeah... If are rejected a first time it is highly unlikely that they will over turn the decision. Trust me I have done it before when I was trying to transfer in after my first year and they did not over turn the rejection. With a 2.7 and a 1240 you have a slight chance, but see if you can get above a 3.1 GPA to off set the 2.7. But they are very strict about this.

If you don't get in, you can always reapply. I have a neighbor who did not get in senior year. She attended a mid sized private college and reapplied to Rutgers (she was very unhappy at the private), and she was rejected again. She went to Ramapo for a year and then she reapplied again. She was accepted to Rutgers as a junior. She received credit for her course work, and will be graduating on time from Rutgers-NB.
