What are my chances of getting into these schools?

Hi, I am looking at many Ivy League schools, such as Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, and Yale. I am also looking at Georgetown, Stanford, Washington University, University of Chicago, and some others. What are my chances of getting into these top schools based on my resume?

ACT- 35 Composite
SAT 2- 800 on Math 2, 800 on Chemistry, 780 on Biology
AP test scores- 5 on Language and Composition, 5 on Biology, 5 on Chemistry
GPA- 4.0 unweighted
9 Total AP Classes with 6 of them in senior year
Class rank: #1 (But my transcript only shows "top ten percent")

Awards: English Department Book Award, Columbia Book Award, Women in Engineering Award (I laughed when I won this)

Clubs/Activities: Class treasurer freshman and sophomore year, vice president junior year, hopefully president senior year, vice president of National Honors Society, member of French Honors Society, member of Global Voice, founder of a youth volunteer organization in my school, organize freshman orientation annually, I run cross country and track, and I played baseball freshman year

Outside of school: I started my own "business" repairing iPods, iPhones, Macbooks, etc. for people I know and also through eBay, I am a member of the Youth Volunteer Corps, I spent a few days this summer painting a new logo on a wall in my school, and I am a volunteer counselor for vacation bible school. Also, there is a chance that I will be learning sign language so I can help out at a deaf and blind center with a friend of mine.

Please let me know what you think my chances are and areas in which I can improve.
Thanks!

I think you have a very good chance at those schools! Your scores are great, your grades and rank are perfect, so stats-wise, you’re definitely in the running.

Obviously grades and scores aren’t enough for the most selective schools, but I’m really impressived with your extra-curricular activities. I especially like how you started your own mini-business (that shows initiative, skill, and creativity, which these schools admire), and I also like how you hope to use sign language to volunteer. I think either of these passions of yours would be a great thing to highlight in your application. While you’ll be putting a lot of impressive things - like awards and positions and clubs - on your application, it’s important that after reading your application the adcoms really remember something distinct about you. Maybe one of these activities can be your key to “standing out” in that way.

I think the personal essay is really important, so definitely start brainstorming on that. It’s important that you really use that part of the application to your benefit - it’s really the only way adcoms can see who you are as a person, so make sure you show them, whether through a personal experience or by expounding upon one of your extra curriculars (like your repair business or volunteering).

Oh, and remember not to focus too hard on the “getting-in” part of it. Focus on what you’re passionate about and be the determined, hard-working, goal-oriented person I’m sure you are, and then the rest will hopefully fall into place :). Good luck!
