I graduated high school with a 3.7 gpa and a 1390 on my SAT. I think their test requirements was higher than that, so I signed up to retake the test for a third time. A month before the retake, SFA emailed me that I got in. The main factor to me is that I had 24 hours of dual credit, along with AP classes that I had taken three years prior to being a senior. So already having college credit helped me out extremely. If it’s available, I would take the govt/econ classes as a dual credit, unless you’re 100 percent sure you can get a good grade on the AP classes. Luckily for me, I had really great social studies professors from the past two years that helped me feel more comfortable on the college level.
