What are my chances of getting into UC Berkeley and ultimately Haas?

I am going to be a business administration major, concentration in marketing. I'm a junior in high school.
Weighted academic GPA counting 9th through to present grades: 3.514 (unweighted 3.357).
Weighted academic GPA counting 10th through present grades: 3.7059 (unweighted 3.3529).
Weighted total GPA (this includes classes not accepted by UC schools) counting 9th through 3.625 (unweighted 3.4375).

Classes currently taking and prospective grades in them:
Precalculus: A.
Chemistry: A.
Nonschedule (open period, so i can take a community college class): Credit.

AP classes taken: English Language, US History.
Classes planning to take my senior year: AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Theatre History, AP Government, AP Macroeconomics, AP English Literature.

The reason my GPA is so low is because my freshman year I got a D and C- in a Geometry class.

I also take a few classes at a community college. All B's and A's, except I have one F in a dance class I took my freshman year.

I am president of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation, secretary of the Animal Protection Club, and a member of Key Club (running for president senior year).
I danced for 13 years at a local studio, doing ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. I now take dance classes at the community college.
I have over 30 internship hours at a local insurance agent, and I'm probably going to continue 25 hours of work there every month until the end of July. That's 150 hours. In August I will probably cut down my hours with all my AP classes.

I am taking the SAT Reasoning for the first time March 14th and the ACT in June, but I got a 1600 on the PSAT, a 540 and 580 on the US History Subject Test, and a 600 on the Literature Subject Test.

Will my low GPA and several bad grades hurt my chances at Cal? Let's be honest yet mature please. Thank you in advance.

To be blunt, yes, unless you have certain extenuating circumstances during freshman year. Your grades lack consistency - a trained, proficient dancer of 13 years getting an F?? Cal's admissions standards weigh, above all else, high GPA and class rank and good scores. To improve your chances, I suggest getting those test scores higher and maintaining stellar grades in your junior and senior years.

You have a small chance of getting in unless you raise your SAT scores and grades.

Good feedback. I'm studying every chance I get for the SATs. My class rank is 78 of 590 (13%). My freshman year I was not focused in school and just didn't care. I don't know how to get that through to admission officers. Any ideas?

Also, should I try to retake Geometry at the community college? Or maybe that dance class? Will retaking those classes change anything?

If you are in-state, you get more good grades, and get good test scores then you have a shot. If you aren't in-state, I'd say that your chances are low.

UCs don't look at 9th grade.

I am in state.

They look at 9th grade, they just don't count it when calculating your "UC GPA".

Your best bet will probably be to do two years at a CC and enter Haas as a junior transfer. That's the great thing about the CA system, everyone gets a second chance.

I've thought of doing that. Would it be okay for me to go to a CSU or another UC then transfer to Haas as a junior? Or would CCs be better?
