What are my chances of getting into UCLA and to which UCs do I really have a shot at?

So I am currently a sophomore at Pasadena City College in California. I have a 3.55 gpa, doing the UCLA TAP (Honors Program), work full time, poli sci major, have 2/3 of my major preps done( intro to poli sci, comparative politics), will have completed and tooken more polisci courses than asked by UCLA, volunteer for LA for Bernie (political organization). What are my chances of getting into UCLA and what UCs do I have a shot with, I will be applying to UCSB, UCB, UCSC, UCSD and UCLA naturally

With TAP, you have a pretty good shot. Your ECs also help in my opinion. I think you’ll definitely gain admission to all the other UCs.

Your GPA for UCLA, Berkeley and UCSD is below average.

A friend of mine got into UCB PolySci with a 3.5 and minimal EC’s. Make sure to at least maintain your GPA this semester, and raise it if possible - also, your personal statement will likely play a major role in your decision, as you are definitely borderline. Your EC’s will likely help, and I’m sure TAP will be an excellent asset for you. You have a solid shot at UCSD and UCLA - UCB may be a reach, but it’s definitely possible. I think you’ll get into UCSB and UCSC for sure, but make sure to TAG to one of the two.

Is there any reason why you’re only completing 2/3 major prereq’s?

@goldencub I lhave only had the chance to take two major preps but I am planning on taking more. I’m not going to stop at 2

Oh, alright, good. So to clarify, you will have taken all of your major prerequisites (3/3) by the Spring of 2016? If so, I think you have a good shot. Again, try to raise your GPA, and make sure you write an enthralling personal statement. Good luck!
