Other tests: 4 on AP US History, 4 on Language and Composition</p>
<p>GPA: Unweighted 4.0 scale = 3.49 weighted 6.0 scale = 4.37</p>
<p>Classes: 6 classes all 4 years, 4 honors my 9th and 10th grade year, 3 honors and 2 AP 11th, 1 honors and 3 AP this senior year.</p>
<p>EC: ran varsity cross country 10th, 11th, 12th grade ---> captain this year.

<p>I was in the Boy Scouts all 4 years and have attained the highest rank of Eagle scout.</p>
<p>I feel like my short and long essay would be at least a 6-7/10, if not slightly better. I'm not the best writer, but I am competent and I feel like they were well thought out and written.</p>
<p>And I have heard someone say they often consider you slightly more if you had 'lesser' parents as in some cases this may mean you worked harder on your own. If that's true, know that my parents never had a prayer of going to college! My work was beyond them by about the 9th grade haha... but they're still wonderful parents :)</p>
