What are my chances of getting into University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill?

<p>Hi everyone!
I'm only a freshman in high school, but I've decided already that I want to go to UNC!! </p>

<li><p>My Classes
Drama I - A+

My GPA as of right now: 4.11 (School year has not ended)</p></li>
<li><p>Extracurriculars
a. Basketball: I was on the JV Basketball team this past winter at my school. Although not my best season, my teams final record was 15-3. I plan on playing all four years of high school.
b. Lacrosse: I was on the JV Lacrosse team this past spring at my school. One of my best seasons (I was told to move up to Varsity!) and my team finished 6-2. I plan on playing all four years of high school.
c. I am an avid member in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Although I do not attend every meeting (finding rides is hard!), I try my best to attend as many as I can and be active in them.
d. I am also an avid member in my Church. My youth group is going on a Mission Trip to Mcconellsville, Ohio this summer! I CAN'T WAIT!!!
e. I am already apart of the National Honors Society, but at my school you have to be a Junior or Senior to attend the meetings and activities. So I'm definitely going to all of the meetings.
f. I'm thinking about doing Cross Country in the fall, so that I can get in shape for basketball season! So make that another sport on my list!</p></li>

<p>At my school, Honors give a 0.5 Grade Point boost and APs give a 1.0 Grade Point boost.
4. Majors
I really want to double major in Elementary Education and Psychology. I'm hoping that by taking Early Childhood and Teacher Cadet shows my interest in teaching, also by taking AP Psychology.</p>

I live in Virginia, so it would be an out of state tuition fee. My parents will allow me to go anywhere in the U.S. for college. My wondering is, what percentage of out of state people do they accept?</li>

<p>What do you think my chances of getting into UNC are?</p>

<p>Not sure on the acceptance rate for OOS but I know the student body is only 14 or 16% OOS by state law. It’s incredibly hard to get into UNC OOS. You’re a freshman and haven’t taken any type of standardized test. It’s great that you’re so excited but you have a ton of time! See how you do on the PSAT if you take it next year (some schools will have sophomores take it as well). Keep your grades up and you’ll have plenty of opportunities! Don’t focus too much on one school just yet. You have plenty of options right in your own state for school as well - including UVA. You might want to save some money for grad/law/whatever school.</p>
