You have a great GPA, and GPA is “very important” (while test scores are “important”) in Washington’s admission decisions according to its Common Data Set. Your substantial hours working as a babysitter and hostess and your volunteer work should also help you in Washington’s holistic review of your application. If you can bump up your SAT by 100 points or so, you should have a great chance. Good luck!
You have really good extracurricular/academics all around. My advice for UW would be to focus on the writing portion of the application. A really good personal statement can help boost your chances. Work some of your extra-curricular activities and work experience into your personal statement. I applied, got into, and turned down UW last year with a 3.78 uw GPA, a 1740/2400 on the old SAT (equivalent to 1260 on the new scale), and decent extra-curriculars and volunteering. I think you have a really good shot.
Brewmater10 are you an in-state student when you applied to UW?
