I will have 4 years of wrestling by the end of my senior year. I’m not the best, I’m JV right now, but can easily get a even or winning record on varsity my senior year. I live in Illinois and compete in Dupage Valley Conference, and it is probably one of the hardest conferences in the country. My coaches have told me that IL is one of the hardest states for high school wrestling too, but I don’t think i can qualify for state even my senior year. Thinking of joining varsity football and track my senior year because of the extra time I’ll have
Mile time: 7:20 - I could probably shave off a good minute by next year
Sit ups: Whatever the max is
Push ups: 75 easily
Pull ups: 15
40 yd dash: ~4.8
100 ft basketball throw: I would predict 100 ft at least

Piano IMEA testing for 9 years/10 levels.

No record of any disciplinary action
I’m Asian too, but not an immigrant. Will this give me an advantage, disadvantage, or nothing? I know some schools still have quotas, and others look for more diversity. I have also been told about a letter of recommendation written by a congressman is required. Is this true? I know that I need more leadership skills and I’m trying to get into higher ranks in the clubs I’m in. I could probably get letters of recommendation from a science teacher, orchestra director, and Latin teacher. Online acceptance rates this year have been pretty low, around 8% or 9%. Why is this? The academic requirements aren’t extremely high, so are sports taken into account very seriously? Thanks to anyone who responds to my questions.
