What are my chances of transfer acceptance?

I applied to NWU as a HS senior and did not get in, i think mainly due to my SAT scores...here are my HS stats

full IB diploma
GPA: 3.7-3.8 (sumwhere between those, my school has a different system)
SATs: 590 (CR), 640 (Math), 620 (Writing)-->yes i know very very low
National Honor Society
National Society of High School Scholars
Started a film club at my school
captain of cross country team
and the list goes on

I ended up going for Boston University

My GPA after a year:4.0

what are my chances of transfer acceptance (to Kellogg School of Management)?

You can’t transfer to Kellogg as an undergrad…and sorry idk anything about your chances but that 4.0 will prob. help a lot.

why cant you transfer to Kellogg?

Kellogg is a graduate school. You can earn a Kellogg Certificate as an undergrad if you complete the appropriate coursework (it’s somewhere on the website), but other that’s as much as you can get out of it.

if you can keep your gpa where it is right now, I think you have a very good chance. and yes you can’t major in business at NU but don’t worry there are many opportunities for students that want to do business.

1 way to help your chances - do some research on the school.

Your GPA is fine, even your test score may be OK as a transfer if you put effort into your application (e.g. figure out why you want to go to Northwestern - start by researching which programs actually accept undergrads)

Your stats are right up there - just give them a reason to accept you with the picture you paint in your application.
