I am currently a first year student at the University of Virginia. I want to go to Georgetown desperately, and was rejected last year. I have been very unhappy with the size and culture of UVA.

I have a 3.76 GPA here, and I am currently on track to major in psychology and plan to go to medical school afterwards. I'm a member of the Catholic Student Ministry, the dorm hall representative to the student council, and I tutor underprivileged middle schoolers in biology. I also am bisexual, and a member of an organization that talks to women about positive self-image and provides support for eating disorders.

On my SAT, I received a 2050, (1390 combined). My high school GPA was a 4.08. I interned at a hospital last summer and have worked as an intern at a school for autistic kids the past four years. Additionally, I am fluent in French and worked as a tutor throughout high school.

I will have a professor recommendation from a well-known psychologist here, in addition to recommendations from my high school and the doctor with whom I interned last summer.

What do you all think my chances are of getting into Georgetown? I'm very worried. I thought I could get in last year, and I don't want to get my hopes up if I'm not qualified.
Thanks.
