What Are My Chances? Please Be Honest

<p>I go to a pretty prestigious high school in california and im wondering what my chances are for Boston University. </p>

<p>GPA : 3.3(unweighted) 3.8(weighted)
SAT SCORES: 1930
SAT II: I’m going to take Math 2c and History on November and im expecting scores above 700 on each . and got a 660 on BIo
AP: US history -4 Bio- 4 Euriopean History - 4 I’m taking four difficult AP classes my senior year.
Extracurricular-
Boys Tennis 9th grade (captian) 10th grade ( captian, MVP)
Boy Scouts - (7th-12th) expecting Eagle Scout by December
Kendo ( Japanese Marital Arts) - Black Belt
Tae-Kwon-Do - Black belt
Voluteered at a Hospital for 100+ hours
Music:
Asian American Orchestra - (9-12)
Regional Orchestra- (8-12)
Clubs:
Co-Founded a club to help kids with autism
President of a couple clubs in my school
President Chinese Club</p>

<p>I’m also interested in UC Irvine… you think i have a good chance for either schools?</p>

<p>because I am pretty sure that UCSB can be your safety. and UCSC, UC Merced, UC Riverside. but I think you are already familiar with the UCs.</p>

<p>Bu is probably a match but not an easy one so try and pull your SAT up a lttle so its above the BU average.</p>

<p>Perhaps you can check the archives on this thread. I think it was posted here in early Sept. and the average was in the low 1300s. According to the BU web site the average range for enrolled students (acceped ones are always higher naturally) for this years class is 1270-1410, so 25% are higher than the top and 25% are lower than the bottom of that range. ACT was 27-31 for middle range.
Some programs will be on the higher side like SMG and of course Univ. Professors while CGS is quite lower.</p>
