What are my chances? PLZ take a look at it

Hey there,

I've been looking into two so-cal business schools.

It's USC Marshall and UCI Merage. They both have about the same
amount of pros and cons.. but personally I prefer UCI Merage.

I just don't like USC part of LA :(

So far, I finished 36 units including core classes such as
Financial Accounting, Microecon, Calc 1.

I'm taking Managerial Accounting, Macroecon, English 1 (Freshman Composition),
and Intro to Stat right now.

My current GPA is 3.94 and I'm a CA resident.

I'm in three honor societies (actually one right now, but I'm gonna sign up for two more later this semester)

Played baseball, track and field (varsity), cross country in high school
went to league final and got a bronze medal

i help out a lot at my church.. such as praise team. leading young groups, and etc.
(But I don't know if church activities would help me in the registration process)

I've been working on my essay since the common app opened.. I wouldn't say it's gonna be the number one essay, but I'm going to try my best.

By the time I finish my spring semester, I would have every UCI Merage requirements (and IGETC) done- as for USC, I would be like 2~3 GE courses less.

So these are my specs.. and if you guys know anything about USC Marshall / UCI Merage,
please take a look at it!

Thank you for reading it.

SATs/APs/Rank…?

USC Marshall is far more prestigious and well known than UCI Merage. If you can afford to go to USC, then I would suggest going to Marshall. UCI is mostly known for its stronger Medical/Biological related studies, so unless money is a problem (because UCI will be a lot cheaper since you’re in state), go to USC. The area around the campus isn’t the nicest, but personally I think USC would be the much better choice (and your GPA is above average for UCI).
